We’re incredibly excited to share some big news - we’ve officially been announced as the new operators of the Line of Lode Café in Broken Hill!

While our café Beekeeper’s Table and honey business My Dad’s Honey remain proudly based in Echuca (and aren’t going anywhere!), this is a heartfelt expansion into a place that means a great deal to our family.

Lee-Anne grew up in Broken Hill. Her grandfather, William Drewery, is honoured on the Miner’s Memorial Wall at the Line of Lode - a powerful reminder of the town’s mining history and her family’s connection to it.

Bradley, a third-generation beekeeper raised in Ivanhoe, has worked across the Far West for decades, deeply connected to the land and community.

We’ll be reopening the iconic Line of Lode Café with a focus on quality, wholesome food, local storytelling, and warm, community-driven hospitality. In time, we hope to host live music, feature local Aboriginal art, and launch a Broken Hill–branded honey and beer.

This is not a goodbye to Echuca - it’s a chance to expand what we do best: bringing people together through food and connection in another regional community we care about deeply.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to Foundation Broken Hill, Broken Hill Mines Pty Ltd, and Crown Lands NSW for the opportunity and support throughout this process.

We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome you - whether you’re a Broken Hill local or visiting from afar.

Stay tuned - and thank you for being part of our journey.

- Bradley & Leeanne Jackson
